Proxy Server

What is a proxy server? How do I get information on a proxy server?

A proxy server is an intermediary computer installed between the user’s computer and the Internet. It can be used to record the use of the Internet and block access to websites. The firewall at the proxy server blocks access to certain websites or web pages for various reasons. Therefore, you might not be able to download the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or Java applets to run some.

Characteristics of proxy servers

Role of firewalls and content filtering

This is a security mechanism deployed by ISPs or network administrators in an intranet environment to disable access to certain websites offensive or dangerous to the network users or filter requests access to the content of these sites.

Performance improvement

Daily Proxies servers cache (store) web pages which hosts on the network access for a while. When a host requests the same Web page, the proxy server uses the cached information instead of recovering from the content provider. This allows faster access to web pages.

Obtaining information on a proxy server

Consult your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or system administrator:

  • To obtain the information on a proxy server;
  • If Java applets are disabled on your network;
  • If you try to access a blocked website.

What is a proxy server?

Transit the traffic of the computer through another server.

There are four types of proxy:

Transparent Proxy

– This type of proxy identifies itself as a proxy and leaves the client’s IP address is visible through the HTTP headers. They are not anonymous and generally used for caching.

Anonymous Proxy

– This type of proxy identifies itself as a proxy but hides the client’s IP address. It is used to ensure basic protection.

Deceptive Proxy

– This type of proxy identifies itself as a proxy but replaces the client’s IP address by false incorrect IP address through HTTP headers.

Elite  Anonymous Proxy

– This type of proxy is not identified as a proxy, but as a customer lambda and completely hides the IP address of the user. Visited the website does not know that you use a proxy and, of course, does not know your IP.

All these are daily proxies that you can find for free!
